Tomorrow, August 31st is National Zoo Awareness Day! Your child may wear animal print, camo or shirt with an animal on it if they would like! We will be kicking off the Walk a Thon as well! At Pheasant Point we have a Wildly Important Goal of 100% of students doing what they said they were going to do. Each week every student sets a personal goal for themselves. This could be practicing their sight words, reading independently for 15 minutes or showing a parent their work from school. At the end of each week, the students will see if they met their goal and did what they said they were going to do. Our goal hopefully helps students see effort and practice helps them grow and learn.
Tomorrow, August 29th is National Sports Day! We plan to show our synergy and school spirit by wearing our favorite sports team gear or a jersey of ours! Students are welcome to wear a sports shirt, jersey or favorite team gear.
Pheasant Point has Pretty Important Goals! Our attendance goal is to have 90% of our students here 90% of the time. We are tracking our attendance by class, grade level and the building. Our classrooms that meet their goal each day, come down and take their stuffed pig to class for the day. Stay tuned for our pig races, coming Sept 1st!
